At Taxlay, we strive to provide the best possible service. However, due to the digital nature of our services, please read our refund and cancellation policy carefully before making a purchase.
2. No Refund Policy
⚠️ IMPORTANT: All Sales Are Final
Due to the digital and instant-delivery nature of our tax calculation services, all payments made to Taxlay are non-refundable. Once you make a payment and access the service, you are not eligible for a refund.
2.1 Why No Refunds?
Our services are delivered instantly upon payment:
- Tier 1 (₹51): Instant access to detailed Old Regime calculations
- Tier 2 (₹50): Instant access to full comparison and Excel download feature
Once the service is delivered, it cannot be "returned" like a physical product. The value is provided immediately upon payment confirmation.
3. Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds will NOT be issued in the following cases:
- Accidental or unintentional payments
- Change of mind after accessing the service
- Dissatisfaction with calculation results (if calculations are accurate)
- Failure to read the description before purchasing
- Technical issues on the user's end (device, browser, internet)
- Partial use of the service
- User input errors (entered wrong amounts, forgot to include deductions, etc.)
- "I didn't mean to pay" scenarios
4. Exceptional Circumstances
4.1 Technical Issues on Our End
In the rare event that you experience a technical issue caused by our system that prevents you from accessing the paid service:
- Contact us within 24 hours of payment
- Provide your payment ID/order ID
- Describe the issue in detail (screenshots help)
We will investigate the issue and, at our discretion, may offer:
- Technical support to resolve the issue
- Service credit for future use
- Extension of access period (if applicable)
4.2 Duplicate Charges
If you are accidentally charged twice for the same service:
- Contact us within 7 days with both transaction IDs
- We will verify the duplicate payment
- Refund will be processed to the original payment method within 5-7 business days
5. Payment Disputes
5.1 Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us:
- Your access to the service will be immediately suspended
- We will contest all unjustified chargebacks
- You may be permanently banned from using our services
5.2 Dispute Resolution
We encourage you to contact us directly at support@taxcal.com before raising a dispute. Most issues can be resolved quickly through direct communication.
6. Service Modifications
6.1 Changes to Pricing
We reserve the right to modify our pricing at any time without prior notice. However:
- Price changes will not affect completed transactions
- You will be charged the price shown at the time of purchase
6.2 Service Changes
We may update, modify, or discontinue any aspect of our service. In the event of significant changes that materially affect the service you paid for, we will provide:
- At least 30 days notice before discontinuation
- Prorated refund or service credit (at our discretion)
7. User Responsibilities
To ensure a satisfactory experience, we recommend that you:
- Read the service description carefully before purchasing
- Understand what is included in each payment tier
- Verify that your device and browser are compatible
- Ensure you have a stable internet connection
- Double-check all entries before making payment
- Save or download the report immediately after payment
8. Partial Access
If you make a payment but cannot access the service due to:
- Browser compatibility issues
- Internet connection problems
- Ad blockers or browser extensions interfering
Please contact our support team. We will help you troubleshoot the issue, but this does not qualify for a refund.
